Some minor remarks Ross, R5663 should read R5563; furthermore AB has R5543 on the 20th and CWGC their crew same date. (Therefore I thought that this a/c attacked one day later). Regards, Henk. ....Read More.

Hi Henk, I thought that about R5563 at first but on checking at Hendon both Form 78 and Form 1180 for R5663 agree to a loss on the 19th. So for the momet the weight of primary source evidence is for 5663 with only the ORB and AB going for 5563. R5543 is down as taking off on the 20th hence the description about attacking a tanker that had been subject to squadron attention the previous day (19th). Regards Ross ....Read More.
