Hi all, I have one long shot demand - I know I am very hard to please :) - but I would like to make a try. I am looking for a photo of a Lacaster I from the following ranges where the most of the aircraft will be seen + teh serial too: ME554 - ME596, ME613 - ME650, ME663 - ME704, ME717 - ME759, ME773 - ME814, ME827 - ME868 I have searched the internet and I have found several examples like ME844 or ME836 and few more so I am mostly looking for other hints from books etc. I have found also link to lovely photo of the ME739 on Ebay which is unfortunately no more actual:-( https://picclick.co.uk/ROYAL-AIR-FORCE-AVRO-LANCASTER-ME-142831154525.html TIA Pavel ....Read More.

I have just heard from the owner of the site about the two memorials and they are not for the two a/c KB787 and PA219. For those interested, the Lancasters mentioned are: ME596 "QR-H" and HK564 "AA-P" lost 12/13 Aug 1944 http://users.skynet.be/rmypegww9/BombGroupMuseumLuxembourg/raflancastermemorialweiswampach.html and another a/c lost on 23 Apr 1944 no s/n but crew is listed. http://users.skynet.be/rmypegww9/BombGroupMuseumLuxembourg/raflancastercommemorationplatefagnes.html ....Read More.
