Need help identifying two aircrafts

First aircraft Hudson AM810 Failed to return from a sortie off Norway. F/Sgt Wilson rests in Sola Churchyard, Norway, while the others are all commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial. Second claims same aircaft, Hampden P2078 Set off in company for a mission to Egero, Norway. At 13:09 hrs the aircraft was last seen by S/455 to turn to port towards the Norwegian coast in fog. F/O Edgoose and Sgt Crossley have no known graves and are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial. Regards Ross ....Read More.

Hi, Re: Hampden P2078. 11-12-1942 No.455 Sqn RAAF Hampden TB.1 P2078/'P' Airborne Leuchars 1050hrs to patrol Norwegian coast, north of Egero. Hit by flak which damaged port wing and set petrol tank alight, causing aircraft to turn on its back and crash into the sea. pin pointing p2078 hi all my name is tom gunton i'am g.i.gunton's grandson, i was planning an expedition to norway to find my grandfathers plane and dive on the aircraft and document the site and most likely the respected grave sites of the two airmen that didnt get out. any help in narrowing a search radius or helping me pin point its location or advice is greatly appreciated. my email is tgunton@live.com.au and i will try check the blog regulary aswell. cheers ....Read More.
